Job Description

The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting On-Ramp Wireless including Quality Management System, production failure data collection and analysis, root cause failure analysis and corrective action; new product reliability and qualification testing; and customer service/RMA support.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or working equivalent, and 10+ year’s experience in manufacturing complex RF electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with new product development, product introduction, production support, supplier quality management, analysis for field failures and customer interface with regard to quality issues is required.
• Must have experience in developing and implementing a Quality Management System (QMS) leading to ISO Certification. A leadership role is preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement comprehensive quality plans, from product development through end-of-life. Data collection and analysis, SPC and other statistical applications.
• Reliability tools such as HALT, FMEA, Weibull Analysis, Prediction and ESS is necessary.
• Proficient in the use of statistical analysis tools.
• Excellent written and oral skills.
• The ability to express complex technical issues in straight-forward terms.
• Ability to develop and lead cross-functional teams to resolve significant issues.
• The ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
• Develop new concepts, techniques and standards for Quality systems.
• Able to exercise judgment and initiative with limited supervision.
• Contribute to the definition of policies, plans and objectives.
