Sr. Test Engineer
Job Description
The Sr. Test Engineer will work with On-Ramp development and operations engineering staff including contract manufacturers to design build and release test solutions used for product characterization, reliability and production testing of On-Ramp’s products.
Responsibilities include the following: compose test plans, select components and test equipment, define and configure test setups, drive considerations for hardware/fixture architecture, RF calibration and software test flow.
Will also influence design-for-test, write test automation software using object oriented scripting language employing a mindset for optimal code re-use, validate repeatability and reproducibility of test solutions using statistical methods (Gage R&R), establish test limits and release qualified test solutions into production.
Will run characterization tests on PC board modules and integrated circuits (some with substantial RF functionality), generate documentation for test hardware, fixtures, calibration, software solutions and procedures for contract manufacturers and operators, publish standardized test reports summarizing product yield signatures, drive yield improvement strategies, and provide product debug and failure analysis support as needed.
