Kevin Hell – President and Chief Executive OfficerMr. Hell has over 20 years of experience leading technology and wireless companies to success. He formerly was the Chief Executive Officer of DivX, Inc., a publicly-traded technology company. Over his eight year tenure with the company, Mr. Hell was instrumental in transforming DivX into a market leader in the rapidly emerging digital video market, connecting high quality Internet content with consumer electronics. Under Mr. Hell’s leadership as CEO, DivX significantly grew and diversified its licensing business, made two successful acquisitions to drive product diversification, and secured format approval from major Hollywood studios before being acquired by Sonic Solutions in October 2010. Until recently, Mr. Hell was the chairman of EvoNexus, San Diego’s successful community-supported technology incubator and a program of CommNexus. Under his leadership, EvoNexus companies received over $90M in early-stage financing. Additionally, Mr. Hell serves on the Board of Directors of MicroPower Technologies and On-Ramp Wireless. Before joining DivX, Mr. Hell served as Senior Vice President of Product Management for Palm’s Solutions Group, where he managed the Palm branded products and wireless services division worldwide. Prior to Palm, he was Vice President of the Connected Home for Gateway and was responsible for pioneering a variety of digital home products and services beyond the PC. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hell spent seven years with The Boston Consulting Group, where he consulted with a variety of clients including electric utilities and telecommunications companies on industry trends and corporate strategy. Mr. Hell has an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He also has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University. |

Dr. Ted Myers – Co-founder and Chief Technology OfficerDr. Myers is a recognized expert in wireless communication systems and digital signal processing theory. Prior to co-founding On-Ramp Wireless, Dr. Myers was a founder of CommASIC, where he developed the WBSP processor and its first application to the 802.11 a/b/g physical layer. Based on this architecture, the resulting chipset was a first-pass success and industry best in cost and power consumption, which led to the acquisition of CommASIC by Freescale Semiconductor in 2005. While at Freescale Semiconductor, he applied the WBSP processor architecture to various other wireless applications. Earlier in his career he led and/or contributed to numerous other physical layer designs for cellular applications and government satellite systems. Dr. Myers also serves on the Board of Directors of On-Ramp Wireless. Dr. Myers has a PhD and BS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park. |

Robert Boesel – Co-founder and Sr. Vice President, EngineeringMr. Boesel applies his extensive experience designing and leading the development of On-Ramp Wireless’s systems and ASICs. Prior to co-founding On-Ramp Wireless, he was a founder and VP of Engineering for CommASIC Inc., which was acquired by Freescale Semiconductor in 2005. At CommASIC, Mr. Boesel was responsible for building a team of 25 engineers, for managing the development of Systems, ASIC, Software, Hardware, and Test disciplines, and for completing the development of a WLAN baseband ASIC for handheld devices based upon CommASIC’s WBSP technology. Prior to CommASIC, he held several engineering leadership positions, including Director of Engineering at Qualcomm Inc. where he led the system design of CDMA technology and infrastructure products. Mr. Boesel also serves on the Board of Directors of On-Ramp Wireless. Mr. Boesel has an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, with a background in signal processing and communications. |

Francis Costello - Sr. Vice President, Product and Ecosystem ManagementMr. Costello brings 18 years of experience driving strategy and execution for technology companies to On-Ramp Wireless. Prior to joining On-Ramp Wireless Mr. Costello was COO/CM of StockTwits where he was responsible for scaling, revenue generating partnerships and sales channel execution. Previously he has build product management, business development and marketing teams in executive roles at Veoh Networks, Akonix Systems and OneTouch Communications. He started his career at McKinsey and Company and is active as a mentor and advisor, including work with the EvoNexus Incubator and StartupSD. Mr. Costello has a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Mathematics and Economics from The University of Pennsylvania. |

Scott Hughes - Vice President, FinanceMr. Hughes oversees On-Ramp’s financial, investor relations, and human resources functions. He brings over 23 years of experience to the company, with a strong knowledge of the enterprise hardware networking segment and semiconductor design lifecycle. Mr. Hughes has held numerous executive roles throughout his career. He joined On-Ramp from RealEC Corporation where he was senior vice president of operations. Prior to that Mr. Hughes was chief financial officer for Solarflare, a designer of high speed networking equipment. At Solarflare he was responsible for the company’s finance, human resources, legal, and information technology functions. He led the closing of over $200 million in financing from venture capital and strategic sources. He also negotiated and led the sale of Solarflare’s PHY business to Marvel Technology Group and played a key role in their 2006 merger with L5 Networks. Earlier in his career Mr. Hughes held executive level positions in both operations and human resources at Quantum, Western Digital and Hewitt Associates (acquired by AON). He was also an entrepreneur and co-founded a digital media startup. Mr. Hughes has both a Masters and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University. |

Brad Wallace - Vice President, OperationsMr. Wallace brings 30 years of experience in high-tech and wireless business operations management to On-Ramp Wireless. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Wallace co-founded MicroPower Technologies, a former EvoNexus Incubator company that develops solar wireless surveillance solutions, where he also served as COO and CFO. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wallace served as the Director of Operations and Finance for Intel’s New Business Investments, where he built businesses in Bluetooth products and media centers, developed key ODM relationships for OEMs using Intel reference designs and processors, and also directed supply chain and outsource manufacturing strategy. Mr. Wallace has also served as COO for Archos North America, a leading innovator of consumer pocket entertainment products, and as Director of Operations for Sonoma Systems, a provider of broadband access devices. Mr. Wallace holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, a BA in Business from Cal State Fullerton, and is a CONNECT Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR). |

Jason Wilson – Sr. Vice President, Business DevelopmentMr. Wilson comes to On-Ramp Wireless with years of experience in product and program management in the telecommunications, defense electronics, and wireless industries. Prior to joining On-Ramp Wireless, he was VP of Product Management at Ostendo Technologies, where he executed the development of an innovative immersive, curved screen display and secured a major DOD contract win for advanced imaging technologies. Prior to Ostendo, Mr. Wilson served in various product and program management roles at large companies and start-ups including L-3 Communications, TollBridge Technologies, and Nortel Networks. Early in his career, he served as an officer in the United States Air Force as a program manager for what are now the Delta IV and Atlas V launch vehicle systems. Mr. Wilson has an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and a BS in Astronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy. |
