Sales Manager Oil & Gas

Advanced Metering Lead Engineer
As advanced metering lead you will be responsible for technical aspects of the head-end system, management interface and enterprise integrations. This is a Java position and the candidate should have expert level Java knowledge and deep expertise with advanced metering applications. Thorough knowledge of utility business processes around metering and experience with common utility standards is necessary.
This position requires the following:
- BS or MS in an engineering field or equivalent working experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with smart meter integration.
- Expert-level knowledge of C12.19, C12.18 and C12.22 protocols.
- Expert-level knowledge of DLMS/COSEM standards.
- 5+ years of doing J2EE development for metering applications.

Meter Integration Lead Engineer
As meter integration technical lead you will be responsible for technical aspects of firmware development related to integrating with ANSI and DLMS/COSEM electric meters. This includes design and implementation of embedded code for securing, configuring, reading and updating meters. The ideal candidate has deep ANSI and DLMS/COSEM protocol knowledge and has developed numerous commercial meter integrations for mission-critical utility AMI deployments.
This position requires the following:
- BS or MS in an engineering field or equivalent working experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with smart meters integration.
- Expert-level knowledge of C12.19, C12.18 and C12.22 protocols.
- Expert-level knowledge of DLMS/COSEM standards.

Senior Quality Engineer
The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting On-Ramp Wireless including Quality Management System, production failure data collection and analysis, root cause failure analysis and corrective action; new product reliability and qualification testing; and customer service/RMA support.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or working equivalent, and 10+ year’s experience in manufacturing complex RF electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with new product development, product introduction, production support, supplier quality management, analysis for field failures and customer interface with regard to quality issues is required.
• Must have experience in developing and implementing a Quality Management System (QMS) leading to ISO Certification. A leadership role is preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement comprehensive quality plans, from product development through end-of-life. Data collection and analysis, SPC and other statistical applications.
• Reliability tools such as HALT, FMEA, Weibull Analysis, Prediction and ESS is necessary.
• Proficient in the use of statistical analysis tools.

Sr. RF Test Engineer
The Sr. RF Test Engineer will design and build test solutions used for production testing, product characterization, and reliability testing of OnRamp’s products. This person will work in OnRamp’s operations department and will engage with Onramp engineering staff and contract manufacturers on a regular basis.
Primary responsibilities include writing test automation software using object oriented scripting language while employing a mindset for optimal code re-use, validating repeatability and reproducibility of test solutions using statistical methods (Gage R&R;), and establishing test limits and releasing qualified test solutions into production.
Secondary responsibilities include composing test plans, defining and configuring test setups, driving considerations for hardware/fixture architecture, selecting alternative components, selecting ATE test equipment, and RF calibration and software test flow.
Additionally this Sr. RF Test Engineer will often run characterization tests on PC board modules and integrated circuits (some with substantial RF functionality), generate documentation for test hardware & fixtures, develop software solutions & procedures for contract manufacturers and operators, publish standardized test reports summarizing product yield signatures, drive yield improvement strategies, and provide product debug and failure analysis support as needed.
Requirements
• A BSEE and a minimum of 5 years applicable experience OR no degree with minimum 15 years direct applicable experience is required.
• Strong proficiency with object oriented programming or scripting languages such as C++, Python, Perl, Java, SQL/Oracle/Access or Visual Basic is required!
• Ability to clearly explain RF concepts; IP3, gain compression, I/Q balance, noise figure, Return Loss and power measurements.
• Understands RF functional blocks; amps, converters, PLL’s, synthesized LO’s, filters, RF detectors, AGC loops, direct conversion architectures, etc.
• Proficient with RF test equipment; spectrum & network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, DMM’s, etc.
• Understands how to measure and calibrate RF signal levels and losses throughout a test environment.
• Understands digital interfaces, GPIB control systems and drivers for serial communication, I2C/SPI buss, etc.
• Experience in software development in a team environment under source/revision control.
• Experience with data processing programs such as Galaxy or JMP is desirable.
• Must have clear communication skills, both verbal and written. Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
• Ability to work as a team member and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating deployment of test systems with contract manufacturers based outside the US is preferred.
• A track record of carrying projects (ideally in a leadership position) from conception through production with successful handoff to CM’s is strongly preferred.
Buyer/Export Compliance Analyst
On Ramp Wireless, Inc. is seeking a Buyer/Export Compliance Analyst to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the timely planning and procurement of assigned items in order to meet the shipping schedule while complying with applicable procedures, policies, and regulations. The position will also manage all export compliance and documentation for each of On Ramp’s products. The right candidate will be able to manage rapidly shifting priorities. Additional responsibilities include arranging, coordinating and completing accurate and timely shipments and related documentation for products and support materials going to multiple countries.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or working equivalent in business or related discipline is required.
• A minimum of 3 years experience as a mid-level Buyer in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• A minimum of 3 years experience working with export shipments, compliance, international shipments and express freight carriers like FEDEX and UPS
• Able to work in a pressured environment with constantly shifting priorities while maintaining a high and consistent level of service and operating under deadlines.
• Able to clearly document exports, shipments, material movements and inventory transactions
• Ability to create and document repeatable processes for export compliance and international shipments of products and materials

Sr. Product Engineer
The Sr. Product Engineer is responsible for pulling new products through the development pipe into qualified production and managing the product through its manufacturing lifecycle. Will characterize new products and promote them into production based on achievement of release-gate deliverables, ensure test solutions are stable and based on repeatability and reproducibility statistics (Gage R&R;), collect and condense data from characterization and production test points and use statistical analysis tools to summarize results and set product test limits, manage product flow in production and with contract manufacturers ensuring cost, delivery and yield goals are met.
Responsibilities
• Will publish standardized test reports summarizing product yield signatures.
• Drive yield improvement strategies, communicate product status, business problems, solution alternatives and strategy to project teams and management.
• Coordinate product reliability testing including HALT, HAST, 85/85 and ESD.
• Coordinate device certification testing; FCC, ETSI, IC, ANSI depending on targeted product region.
• Participate in test planning.
• Influence decisions affecting architecture, calibration, test flow and design-for-test.
• Provide product debug and failure analysis support as needed and use results to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
• Requires a BSEE and a minimum of 5 years’ applicable experience.

Manager, Deployment of Electric Metering and Sensing Communications Systems (Japan)
Job type: This is a contract position expected to run for at least 6 months, with potential for contract-to-hire.
The qualified candidate will manage a team and lead all project aspects of deployment and support of cutting-edge wireless networks for billing and energy management applications. The applicant must be willing to reside and work in and around customer premises in Japan. Responsibilities include:
• Complete technical program management across multiple customers.
• Tactical resource planning required for meeting network roll-outs across electric utility and commercial customers in the areas of RF network planning, network and device equipment installation, network and device acceptance testing, and network and device support and maintenance.
• Work with executive team to communicate and prioritize resources across customers and projects to meet company objectives.
• Collaborate with project engineer to ensure software release strategy is in line with customer needs.
• Collaborate with manager of customer support for resource planning to meet troubleshooting network operation in the field.
• Collaborate with COO and sales team for resource planning in support of various pre-sales technical support needs.

A BSEE or working equivalent is required. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred. Must have a minimum of 10 years experience in the deployment, optimization, and customer support of wide-area wireless networks, including instrumentation, control and automation projects, and 3+ years of experience in project management of these functions. Additionally, experience in several of the following technical areas is required:
• Familiarity with the theory and operation of wireless communication networks, especially wireless WAN networks – CDMA, WCDMA, LTE, WiMAX, GSM, etc.
• Familiarity with the theory and operation of wireless RF mesh networks for smart grid applications.
• Familiarity with wireless network equipment – Antennas, RF cabling, mechanical design, backhaul design, power supply design, etc.
• Experienced in facilities electronics instrumentation, control and automation projects.
• Back office equipment installation including familiarity with server equipment, co-location strategies, cooling, power, and bandwidth provisioning for network equipment.
• Familiarity designing and maintaining IP networks including LANs, Routing, Firewalls, SSL/SSH, RADIUS/DIAMETER.
