Access Point
Network Infrastructure for Wide Area Device Monitoring Applications

The ULP Access Point (AP) is a high performance wireless hub designed to operate with ULP endpoints, such as the ULP eNode and microNode. A single AP can cover up to 5000 square miles in some environments. It can operate in a multi-AP network to provide coverage of entire cities, states or even countries. This enables an even more robust coverage for deployment in metro-scale or extremely challenging environments. No other technology provides the coverage, capacity, and simplicity of On-Ramp Wireless’ Ultra-Link Processing™ wireless networking system.
The ULP AP communicates in a simple and efficient star topology with up to 64,000 endpoints. With built-in security, dynamic failover, IP network management and simple provisioning the ULP AP deliver coverage for the ideal network deployment for a range of meter, sensor, and control applications.
