eNode
Wireless module for smart grid, remote monitoring and other device applications

On-Ramp Wireless’ eNode provides unprecedented range and robustness for wireless applications, while maintaining high capacity and extremely low power consumption. Whether the application is an advanced Smart Grid system, gas and water metering, industrial or metro-scale sensing, or even a location-based service, no other wireless module matches the ULP endpoints.
The eNode is built on On-Ramp Wireless’ Ultra-Link Processing™ technology that offers a 600× coverage advantage over competing solutions. This means that the eNode is the first wireless module to provide metro-scale wireless networking in unlicensed ISM-bands. ULPs unique multiple access method, Random Phase Multiple Access (RPMA), also enables the system to provide a 25× network capacity advantage, resulting in a substantially lower network infrastructure cost per square mile of coverage.
The eNode’s open and standard interfaces integrate easily with a variety of customer devices, such as electricity, gas and water meters, in need of a high performance wireless module for their specific applications.
