Careers

On-Ramp Wireless Inc. is a San Diego based systems provider for low-power, wide area scalable wireless networking and location tracking. The Company's revolutionary Ultra-Link Processing™ (ULP) technology solves the main barriers to wide-scale deployment of wireless device networks and location tracking in challenging environments. On-Ramp's ULP can achieve a receive sensitivity of -142dBm; providing a 15-45 times advantage over competing free spectrum and cellular protocols in terms of range and capacity (scalable up to thousands of nodes), enabling broad adoption of wireless sensors. Initial target applications include Smart Grid, Industrial Condition Monitoring, Remote Monitoring, and Energy Management. On-Ramp’s hardware has successfully been tested at a greater than 30-mile range in the 2.4GHz free ISM band while preserving low-power operation.

Working at On-Ramp, you will join a highly motivated team of select senior experts in each field. Each candidate is expected to have a high impact on On-Ramp’s success by contributing actively. We are a fast growing company with multiple internal opportunities to take on additional responsibilities as we develop different market segments. Our salaryies are competitive and a full benefits package is available to all full-time employees. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in On-Ramp’s success through stock option awards. Since each individual is unique, we are flexible in tailoring positions to motivated candidates. This is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact and participate actively in the shaping of one of San Diego’s most exciting companies.
