JOB DESCRIPTION:

Work with application engineers and embedded software team to develop and deploy applications built on the On-Ramp Ultra-Link wireless protocol. Work closely with SQA and Systems Test teams to ensure high-quality results and maintain comprehensive unit test for new products and features. RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of C/C++ programming experience.
Expert Object Oriented Analysis and Design skills.
Strong background in high-performance algorithms and data structures.
Advanced knowledge of protocol-stack development and experience designing and implementing communication systems from the ground-up.
Comprehensive experience in TCP/IP protocols (sockets, IP, ICMP, UDP, QoS, etc…) including performance tuning and troubleshooting tools and techniques.
Experience developing SNMP integrations required.
Shipping, production code for widely deployed enterprise application on Linux/UNIX required.
SQL experience and familiarity with Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server highly desired.
Experience with application development targeting HA configuration highly desired.
Experience developing for a Base station platform or Wireless LAN Access Controller highly desired.
Protocol Stack knowledge for one or more of the following wireless LAN/PAN technologies: 802.15.4 protocols, ZigBee, proprietary sensor networking protocols, WLAN, Bluetooth is desirable.
Excellent communication skills.
