JOB DESCRIPTION:

Design and develop an innovative Network management system that will be used to manage On-Ramp’s ULP product line. Participate in all phases of the software development cycle. Work with hardware, systems, and test teams to develop quality products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Current hands-on experience in developing EMS and NMS Systems.
BSEE/BSCS, preferably a MSEE/MSCS or related degree and 5+ years of practical experience in the field of embedded software development in wireless industry or equivalent, with a focus on EMS or NMS. The ideal candidate will have technical experience and knowledge in several of the following areas:
Hands-on experience and deep knowledge in SNMP and/or XML, SOAP/REST is required.
Network management backend experience is required. Deep experience with FCAPS and OAMP required. Alarm management, Performance management, and configuration management are a MUST.
Hands-on experience with SQL (MySQL or other open source Databases), Java or .NET, Apache, Python is desired.
Experience with Linux based systems is needed.
Experience on at least one Base station platform or Wireless LAN Access Controller with good understanding of Handover, Mobile state management would be a strong plus.
Knowledge of High Availability is desired.
A can do attitude and willingness to step in to any role as needed by the team including test, and support.
Must be a good team player and be able to handle pressure in a fast-moving environment.
Good communication skills.
