Senior Systems Engineer - MAC or Network Security

JOB DESCRIPTION:

On-Ramp Wireless is currently hiring for multiple openings in Systems Engineering. Ideal candidates will have expertise in one more areas listed in the job requirements section below. Ability to take a systems view of our entire network, from sensor nodes to the base-station and backend network is required. A strong understanding of system test case design, development and coverage is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Strong development skills in C/C++, Matlab
Expert knowledge of wireless MAC protocols such as CDMA, WLAN, WiMax, LTE etc ; and ability to contribute to design of new MAC protocols
Strong background in network security
Expert knowledge of various networking protocols such as TCP/IP, SSL, SSH, IPSec, Diameter and ability to contribute to design of new wireline protocols,
Expert knowledge of network management systems / SNMP and ability to contribute to design of the On-Ramp Wireless NMS
