Wireless Connectivity for a Reliable Smart Grid
In April On-Ramp Wireless was featured in Electric Light and Power where we discussed the results of the pilot we did with the Department of Energy (DOE) to tackle some of the most challenging communications requirements of smart grid monitoring with a project focused on wireless connectivity for previously unconnected grid assets. The project team met the DOE’s objectives and identified three areas utilities need to consider when evaluating a smart grid solution.
