Job Description

The qualified candidate must have a strong RF background, be familiar with RF propagation models for cellular-like networks and have field data collection experience. Must have worked with Network planning tools, (EDX preferred), RF model tuning , GIS data conversion and familiar with link budget calculation. Knowledge of antenna trade-offs, clutter environments, and strong scripting skills (python preferred). Network Planning Engineer provides initial case studies to business development and sales groups, and provides detailed network studies and trade-off analysis to Project Engineers. Must be able to travel up to 10%.

Job Requirements

BSEE or working equivalent plus 2-5 years applicable experience is required.

Experience in data collection, post processing and model tuning for cellular-like networks is also required.

Experience with RF network optimization and capacity planning.

Experience with EDX or other Network Planning tools is necessary.

Knowledge of antenna trade-offs, clutter environments, and strong scripting skills (python) is preferred.
