Support Engineer

Job Description

As a Support Engineer, you will provide on-going technical support to On-Ramp Wireless’ network customers. This includes managing customer tickets, debugging field issues, supporting network outage escalations per SLA, integrating ORW network to customer back-office environments (database, data-warehousing, SNMP, management platforms, etc.) and providing software maintenance integration and test for customer specific branches from Generally Available software releases. Responsibilities also include support of deployment projects in the post-sales phase. Must be able to travel up to 50%.

Job Requirements

BSEE/CS and 5-10 years applicable experience is required.

Detail domain knowledge in one or more of the following is required: Linux, scripting, Oracle or RF engineering.

Strong debugging and networking skills are of primary importance.

Must have a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills and the drive to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
