Job Description

We are looking for a superstar Systems Engineer that will work with a multi-disciplinary team to perform system design, field testing and data analysis in our communication systems group. Job will also include work on technical white papers, presentations to IEEE standards bodies, project engineering in customer engagements, and technical marketing as well. We are looking for a dynamic individual that can wear a lot of hats in a quickly changing startup environment.

Job Requirements

A Master’s degree in EECS with a focus on signal processing/digital communication is strongly preferred. Two years’ applicable experience is highly desired. Coursework in the design and development of wireless systems is strongly recommended. A qualified candidate will have knowledge in the following areas:

Must have exceptional spoken and written communication skills – particularly in making technically complex subjects accessible to laymen. Teaching experience is a plus.

Must have strong programming skills, particularly in Matlab and Python.

Must be mathematically minded with a deep knowledge of probability and statistics.

Must have deep knowledge of digital communications, signal processing, and networking.

Knowledge of antenna design, RF, hardware, and embedded software is also a plus.

Knowledge of some of the following wireless technologies is strongly preferred: CDMA, WLAN, ZigBee, Wireless Mesh Networking.
